This video details the education requirements, and arms you with everything you need to know to get started.


  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old, show proof of legal US residence, and a valid Social Security Number.
  • Applicants must also complete 75 hours of state-aproved education, submit an application, background check, and requred fee, and pass the state licensing exam.
  • No high school diploma or college degree is required, and North Carolina residency is not required.
