If you cancel one of our live Broker or BIC Continuing Education Courses, we will be happy to carry your Tuition Fee forward for one year to another CE Course. There are no refunds (no exceptions) for live or online CE courses.
The North Carolina Real Estate Commission mandates that course access for online, elective continuing education courses be capped at a maximum of 30 days. As a result, your enrollment in any online continuing education course with J.Y. Monk will expire 30 days from the time of purchase.
“Walk-Ins” are welcome in our live Broker and BIC CE Courses as space permits. We will charge you an additional “Walk-In” Fee of $10.00 per CE Course. (We suggest you Pre-Register for any of our CE Courses to avoid extra fees.)
If you are registered for one of our live Broker or BIC CE Courses and you do not show up for the course, you must call our Administrative Office at 1-800-849-0932 from 9:00AM-5:00PM on Monday-Friday to reschedule the course. You will be charged a $10.00 Rescheduling Fee to move to another CE Course.
State Law requires all CE Students to attend at least 90% of a 4 Hour CE Course including breaks. CE Students who are absent from the classroom more than 24 minutes will not receive credit for a CE Course. (For example, if a CE Course begins at 8:30AM and you arrive in the classroom after 8:54AM, by State Law our instructor will not allow you to enter the CE Classroom, and we cannot give you credit for the CE Course. We will consider you to be a “No Show”, and you should call our Administrative Office at 1-800-849-0932 from 9:00AM-5:00PM on Monday-Friday to reschedule your CE Course for a $10.00 Rescheduling Fee.)
There are no tests or exams given in any of our live classroom broker or BIC CE classroom courses.
After you have successfully completed one or more of our like Broker or BIC CE Course(s), J.Y. Monk Real Estate School will report electronically within seven (7) days to the NC Real Estate Commission that you have successfully completed your CE Course(s). We will give you a Certificate of Completion at the end of your CE Course(s) to keep for your own records.
