North Carolina Real Estate Continuing Education Courses

Renew your North Carolina real estate license with state-approved courses

*NOTICE: North Carolina has extended its 2020 CE deadline to September 30. In order to fulfill your 2020 CE requirements, you must complete 8 hours of Elective CE courses only. The 2019-2020 GENUP and BICUP CE courses are no longer eligible to fulfill 2020 CE requirements. Our 8-Hour Makeup CE Live Online Package is a great solution to get you back on track!

You’re also responsible for completing 8 hours of continuing education for the 2021 season. 2020-2021 GENUP and BICUP CE courses are now available. All online CE must be completed within 30 days, or by June 10, 2021 whichever comes first.

North Carolina real estate professionals are required to complete eight hours of state-approved continuing education every year, by June 10. Kaplan, formerly J.Y. Monk, offers the continuing education courses that North Carolina Real Estate Brokers and Brokers-In-Charge need to meet the state requirement for license renewal.

The state of North Carolina mandates that brokers complete a four-hour General Update course, and BICs complete a four-hour Broker-In-Charge Update course in a live classroom. The remaining four hours of elective credit may be completed through an online course.

Kaplan offers required and elective live CE courses in classrooms throughout the state, allowing you to complete your CE requirement in a single day. We also offer comprehensive online elective continuing education courses, which provide a more convenient way to complete your elective credit requirement.

Your courses are offered by Kaplan Real Estate Education.
