North Carolina Real Estate Broker Postlicensing Courses

Complete Your North Carolina Postlicensing Education Requirement

If you’re a newly licensed North Carolina real estate agent, you need to complete postlicensing education to remove the provisional status of your license. You need to complete a series of three 30-hour courses within your first 18 months of licensure.

You must already be licensed before you may enroll in post-licensing courses. The North Carolina Real Estate Commission will not grant post-licensing credit to students who started post-licensing courses before they received their real estate license.

Your courses are offered by Kaplan Real Estate Education.

Don't Put Off Your Postlicensing Education

We recommend that all recently licensed North Carolina real estate licensees complete their required postlicensing education as early as possible, before the demands of a full time real estate career make it difficult. We offer postlicensing education in six different classroom locations throughout North Carolina: Charlotte, Fayetteville, Greenville, Hickory, Raleigh, and Wilmington.
