Pete Camak |

A former owner of a successful dental practice in Wilmington, Pete Camak has been in the general real estate brokerage business since 1981. He has taught Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing and Continuing Education Courses for more than 15 years. Using his practical background experience in real estate transactions, Dr. Pete uses humorous real estate stories to help his students understand basic real estate principles and practices. Pete divides his teaching time among our Hickory, Greenville, Boone and Wilmington classroom locations. He also serves as Broker-In-Charge of Camak Realty in Pine Knoll Shores. |

Deborah Carpenter |

An accomplished teacher and author, Deborah Carpenter has taught Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing and Continuing Education Courses in North Carolina since 1988. Deborah serves as our Raleigh Classroom Manager, and in 2006 she won the award for writing the “Real Estate Program of the Year”. She is a former winner of the “Educator of the Year” award in North Carolina and past President of the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association. Deborah holds the prestigious DREI (Distinguished Real Estate Instructor) national designation held by only a few real estate instructors nationwide. She has served as Copy Editor for the State Approved textbook “Modern Real Estate Practices in North Carolina”, 6th Edition, which is used by the J.Y. Monk Real Estate School as well as numerous other real estate schools throughout North Carolina. |

Roy Faron |

Active in the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association since 1998, Roy Faron has served as President and as a member of the Board of Directors. He is our Greenville Classroom Manager and teaches Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing, Continuing Education and Exam Prep Cram Courses in both Greenville and Wilmington. Roy was selected by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission to serve on a special panel to review questions for the State Licensing Examination. Roy also serves as Associate Director of Online Continuing Education for the J.Y. Monk Real Estate School. He worked for 8 years listing and selling real estate in the Charlotte market for the largest real estate firm in Charlotte. Roy was instrumental in developing the original Website for the J.Y. Monk Real Estate School. |

Janice Gulick |

An award winning Real Estate Agent, Janice Gulick has over a decade of experience as an Educator, Real Estate Firm Manager and Broker-In-Charge with several leading Real Estate Firms throughout the Triangle area. She is one of an elite group of instructors who was selected to serve as a “Certified Facilitator” training new agents for Century 21. Janice is a past Vice President of the Johnson County Association of REALTORS, and she has been recognized by the NC Real Estate Commission for outstanding performance as a Real Estate Instructor. She teaches Broker Pre-Licensing Courses and Post-Licensing Courses at J. Y. Monk Real Estate School in Raleigh. |

Curt Hardee |

An active member of the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association, Curt Hardee serves as our Fayetteville Classroom Manager. Curt teaches Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing and Continuing Education Courses in our Fayetteville classroom. A licensed Real Estate Broker since 1983, he owned and served as Broker-In-Charge of his own real estate firm in Fayetteville for several years. In 1989 Curt served as President of the Fayetteville Association of REALTORS. A retired Army Officer, Curt has been teaching Real Estate Courses full time since 1996. He brings a wealth of real estate experience and real life real estate examples to his classroom presentation. |

Nancy Legg |

Licensed as a Broker and Real Estate Instructor in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Nancy Legg brings 19 years of Real Estate experience to our Charlotte Classroom. She teaches Pre-Licensing, Post-Licensing and Continuing Education Courses for the J. Y. Monk Real Estate School. Nancy served for several years as Broker-In-Charge of one of the largest real estate firms in South Carolina. She won the South Carolina Association of REALTORS “Educator of the Year” award in 2005. Nancy has held the offices of President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Palmetto Real Estate Educators Association. She is a Consumer Certified Real Estate Consultant (C-CREC), Certified Buyers Representative (CBR) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). |

Jim Mort |

An accomplished Real Estate Educator, Sales Trainer and Administrator, Jim Mort brings more than 30 years of both practical and teaching real estate experience to his classroom at J.Y. Monk Real Estate School. Jim serves as our Hickory Classroom Manager and teaches a variety of real estate courses for our school in Hickory and Western North Carolina. Prior to joining the J.Y. Monk team, Jim Mort served as Director and Chief Instructor for leading real estate schools in Florida. He also developed a reputation for excellence in Sales Training at some of Florida’s largest and most prominent real estate firms. A compassionate, caring real estate professional, Jim Mort receives “RAVE REVIEWS” from his North Carolina students at J.Y. Monk Real Estate School. |

Anne Rasheed |

A native of Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, Anne Rasheed graduated from Appalachian State University with a major in Real Estate. She currently resides in the Boone/Blowing Rock area where she serves as a partner/associate with Lenmark Properties, Inc. Anne was selected as the 2003 “Educator of the Year” by the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association. She currently teaches NC real estate education for Broker Pre-Licensing Courses in our Boone classroom and Exam Prep Cram Courses in both Boone and Raleigh. Anne also travels throughout Central and Western North Carolina teaching Continuing Education Courses for the J. Y. Monk Real Estate School. Our students love her humorous classroom presentations using real life examples drawn from her real estate experience. |

Kevin Sensing |

A former Broker-In-Charge for the largest real estate firm in Goldsboro, Kevin Sensing teaches Pre-Licensing and Post-Licensing Courses for the J.Y. Monk Real Estate School. He divides his teaching time among our Fayetteville, Greenville and Raleigh classrooms. Kevin has written Real Estate Training Programs for North Carolina real estate firms and has served as Training Manager for three real estate firms. He produced a popular, comprehensive “Power Point Presentation” which he and some of our other instructors use to assist them in teaching their Broker Pre-Licensing Courses. Kevin served for 20 years in the US Air Force before entering the real estate business. He holds a BA in General Aeronautics. |

Kim Stotesbury |

A real estate investor and Property Manager, Kim Stotesbury is the founder and Broker-In-Charge for two real estate firms in North Carolina. She is also an award winning real estate educator and author. Kim has received the outstanding “Educator of the Year”, award, the “Billie J. Mercer Excellence in Education” award and the “Real Estate Program of the Year” award from the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association. She teaches Broker Pre-Licensing Courses in Hickory and Concord, Exam Prep Cram Courses in Charlotte and Continuing Education Courses throughout North Carolina. Kim is one of only a few real estate instructors nationwide who hold the prestigious Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) national designation. She is actively involved in the music ministry at her church and is a proud grandmother. |

Jerry Thomas |

With more than 15 years of real estate teaching experience, Jerry Thomas serves as our Wilmington Classroom Manager. Jerry holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MA from George Washington University. His unique style of teaching, using material-related stories and examples, makes learning both fun and relevant for his students. Jerry was selected by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission to serve on a special panel to review questions for the State Licensing Examination. He was also selected to speak at the Annual Conference of the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association on the topic “How to Improve Instructor Pass Rates on the State Licensing Exam”. |

Sandy Williams |

While serving as our Charlotte Manager, Sandy Williams teaches Broker Pre-Licensing Courses, Post-Licensing Courses and Continuing Education Courses in our Charlotte Classroom. She is a former President of the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association and has served on key Committees in the national Real Estate Educators Association. Sandy received the 2006 “Educator of the Year” award and the “Billie J. Mercer Excellence in Education” award. She holds the coveted DREI (Distinguished Real Estate Instructor) designation which has been awarded to only a small number of real estate educators nationwide. |
