Continuing Education:
Online Elective North Carolina Real Estate Broker Courses

If you wish, you can take CE Elective Courses online in the privacy of your home or office. However, your CE Update Course MUST be taken live in a classroom. J.Y. Monk Real Estate School offers live Update and Elective CE Courses in 36 locations statewide.

We offer twelve 4 Hour Online Elective Courses on our RE Campus for only $59.00 per course.  All of the courses are approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

If you currently have an Inactive Broker License, you can reactivate you license quickly and easily by taking one or more of our State Approved Online Elective North Carolina Real Estate Broker Courses today.

Some Inactive Brokers are required to take three 4 Hour Elective Courses and one 4 Hour Update Course to reactivate their licenses.  You must take the 4 Hour Update Course in a classroom (not online), but you can take as many of our 4 Hour Online CE Elective Courses as you need by choosing from our list of State Approved 4 Hour CE Elective Courses below:

(Online CE Courses Require Familiarity with the use of the Internet and E-Mail.)

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
  • When you on click on the Button at the bottom of this page, you will enter the RE Campus site where our Online CE Elective Courses are presented.  After entering RE Campus, click on Real Estate.  Then click on the “drop down” - Continuing Education.
  • Select one of the twelve 4 Hour Online Continuing Education Elective Courses, and follow the Registration Instructions carefully. 
  • After selecting the Online CE Elective Course(s) which you wish you to take, click on the Checkout Button. It is CRITICAL that you enter your name EXACTLY as it appears on your North Carolina Real Estate License Pocket Card (including your first name, middle name or middle initial, your last name and any suffixes such as Jr., Sr., III, etc.). It is EXTREMELY CRITICAL that you enter your NC Real Estate License Number and your current email address correctly (Please do not skip any spaces).

    *** If you do not enter your personal information correctly, we cannot report you to the NC Real Estate Commission. You will not get credit for your Online CE Elective Course or Courses. (Please HELP us to report you properly so that you "WILL RECEIVE CREDIT" for your Online Course or Courses.)
  • You will be sent a confirmation of your purchase of the selected Online Elective Course(s) by E-mail containing the procedures for taking the course and reporting completion.
  • Within 24 hours after you have completed your Online CE Elective Course(s), you will receive an email stating that you have successfully completed your course(s).
  • Within 96 hours after you have completed your Online CE Elective Course(s), we will report your successful completion of your Online CE Elective Course(s) to the NC Real Estate Commission. We will also mail you a Certificate of Completion.


    • The North Carolina Real Estate Commission Rules Require the Following:
    • You must complete each of the short exams at the end of each unit of your Online CE Course with a score of at least 90%. It is fine to scroll back and look up the correct answers to the exam questions.  You are not required to pass a Final Exam at the end of your Online CE Elective Course.
    • June 10th is the deadline for completing all CE Courses in North Carolina including Online CE Courses.
    • All Online CE Elective Courses must be completed no later than June 10th (regardless of the date that you registered for your Online CE Course).  (For example, if you begin an Online Course on June 8, you still must complete this course no later than June 10

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

There are no Refunds on any of our North Carolina Real Estate Continuing Education Courses including Online Continuing Education Elective Courses (no exceptions).

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you do not complete your Online CE Elective Course within 30 days of Registration - or by June 10th – the NC Real Estate Commission will not give you credit for the North Carolina Real Estate Continuing Education Course.  After June 10, you will not be able to get back into any Online CE Elective Course, and we will not refund your tuition fee.

By State Law, no CE Courses (including Online CE Elective Courses) can be offered from June 11th through June 30th.

    Call the RE Campus Tech Support at: 1-888-213-5124. Tech Support is available Monday - Thursday from 8:00AM-8:00PM (EST) and on Friday from 8:00AM-6:00PM (EST).

  • If you experience Non-technical Problems or have Questions:

    Email Customer Service and submit your question(s) to one of our Representatives.

LICENSE ACTIVATION FORM:

If you have been placed on Inactive Status by the NC Real Estate Commission and have completed all of the requirements to reactivate your Real Estate License, you can download the License Activation Form here.
