J.Y. Monk Real Estate School offers a Special Fall CE Schedule with 6 statewide locations for real estate Brokers who wish to complete their required CE (Update & Elective) now for the 2011/2012 year. Click on one of the six (6) Locations below to see the Fall dates for that location. (If you wish to wait until next year to complete your CE Courses, we will continue to offer our regular schedule of more that 200 Continuing Education Courses in 36 North Carolina Locations from January 1, 2012, through June 10, 2012. Our Complete 2012 CE Schedule will be available Online no later than November 1, 2012.)

We offer the 4 Hour Update Course (#9912) from 8:30AM - 12:30PM in each CE Location and the 4 Hour Elective Course (#3080 - Every Seller Has a Price!) from 1:30PM - 5:30PM in each CE Location. You can attend one of our CE Courses for $59.00 or both the Update & Elective CE Courses in the same day for a special $109.00 Discount Tuition Fee.
Update Course (Course #9912)In this year's new mandatory Update Course (Course #9912), which was written by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, the J.Y. Monk Real Estate Training Center, Inc.'s outstanding instructors focus on Selected Property Management Issues, Selected Residential Contract Forms, A Broker's Role in a Short Sale Transaction & Broker Price Opinions, License Law Changes and Licensing & Education Issues.
Elective Course (Course #3080)Our Elective Course for 2011 Every Seller Has a Price! (Course #3080) is a NEW Elective Course, written by our outstanding instructor Anne Rasheed for 2011. This course helps experienced and newly licensed agents to understand the dangers of overpricing a property in the current real estate environment. After completing our NEW Elective Course, you will be better able to determine the fair market value of a property and to perform a proper, up-to-date Comparative Market Analysis in today's real estate marketplace.
School Polices and Procedures for CE Classroom Courses:
Refund and Cancellation Policy If you cancel one of our Continuing Education Courses, we will be happy to carry your Tuition Fee forward for one year to another CE Course. There are no refunds (no exceptions).
"Walk-In" Policy "Walk-Ins" are welcome in our CE Courses as space permits. We will charge you an additional "Walk-In" Fee of $10.00 per CE Course. (We suggest you Pre-Register for any of our CE Courses to avoid extra fees.)
"No Show" Policy If you are registered for one of our CE Courses and you do not show up for the course, you must call our Administrative Office at 1-800-849-0932 from 9:00AM-5:00PM on Monday-Friday to reschedule the course. You will be charged a $10.00 Rescheduling Fee to move to another CE Course.
Classroom Attendance Policy State Law requires all CE Students to attend at least 90% of a 4 Hour CE Course including breaks. CE Students who are absent from the classroom more than 24 minutes will not receive credit for a CE Course. (For example, if a CE Course begins at 8:30AM and you arrive in the classroom after 8:54AM, by State Law our instructor will not allow you to enter the CE Classroom, and we cannot give you credit for the CE Course. We will consider you to be a "No Show", and you should call our Administrative Office at 1-800-849-0932 from 9:00AM-5:00PM on Monday-Friday to reschedule your CE Course for a $10.00 Rescheduling Fee.)
No CE Tests or Exams THERE ARE NO TESTS OR EXAMS GIVEN IN ANY OF OUR CONTINUING EDUCATION - CLASSROOM COURSES.
Continuing Education Course Reporting After you have successfully completed one or more of our CE Course(s), J.Y. Monk Real Estate School will report electronically within seven (7) days to the NC Real Estate Commission that you have successfully completed your CE Course(s). We will give you a Certificate of Completion at the end of your CE Course(s) to keep for your own records.
