J. Y. Monk Real Estate School: An Exceptional NC Real Estate School
The J. Y. Monk Real Estate School is the largest and most exceptional Real Estate School in North Carolina with courses offered throughout the state. Our NC Real Estate School is owned and operated by J.Y. Monk Real Estate Training Center, Inc. Since 1975, J. Y. Monk Real Estate School has taught well over 100,000 students in our Broker Pre-Licensing and Post-Licensing Courses, "Exam Prep" Cram Courses and Continuing Education Courses.
Today we offer our Pre-Licensing and Post -Licensing students ten State Approved classroom locations in North Carolina – including Asheville, Boone, Concord, Charlotte, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Greenville, Hickory, Raleigh and Wilmington. Our NC Real Estate School Continuing Education Courses are taught in 36 statewide locations and “Exam Prep” Cram Courses are offered monthly in Charlotte and Raleigh and six times per year in Boone.
The Leader In North Carolina Real Estate Education
Our real estate students can choose from Weekend Courses, Weekday Courses or Evening Courses to fit their schedules. We try to accommodate students whether they are currently working, unemployed or simply seeking a career change. Finding the best in North Carolina real estate education is important and our students come from all walks of life. Most of our students are average men and women from all professions and job descriptions who have no prior real estate knowledge. We also teach thousands of real estate Brokers who return to our Continuing Education Courses year after year to renew their Broker Licenses.
Many men and women attend the J. Y. Monk Real Estate School simply to learn about real estate as an investment and to further their personal real estate knowledge. Our students typically range in age from 18 to 85, but we actually had a 93 year old gentleman attend one of our North Carolina Real Estate Continuing Education Courses recently to renew his Broker License.
North Carolina Real Estate Courses Taught by Award Winning Instructors
We are proud of the fact that three of our instructors - Anne Rasheed, Kim Stotesbury and Sandy Williams - won the real estate "Educator of the Year Award" for 2003, 2004 and 2006 in North Carolina. Deborah Carpenter won the "Best Real Estate Program of the Year Award" for 2006, and she was also selected “Educator of the Year Award” in 1997.
